Who We Are
Founded in 2022, the National Alliance of Latino CDFI Executives (NALCE) is a cross-collaborative initiative created by the National Association for Latino Community Asset Builders (NALCAB) to unite and amplify the voices of Latino-led Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and drive capital toward Latino CDFIs that support underserved Latino communities.
The NALCE coalition is a diverse nonprofit network of 70 Latino CDFI executives that seek to meet the financing needs of Latino communities across the US by expanding access to affordable loan products that are designed to grow assets, preserve and advance neighborhood economic power, and promote generational wealth-building.
Our Mission
NALCE’s mission is to support Latino-led CDFIs to achieve greater racial and economic equity in Latino communities across the US by building CDFI capacities, influencing economic public policies that advance CDFIs’ impact, enhancing CDFI networking and learning, and, most importantly, increasing investments going through CDFIs into the Latino communities we serve.
NALCE members will help Latinos access affordable loan products and financial capability services, regardless of their background or spoken language. Our work will enable Latino families and entrepreneurs to acquire assets, build and preserve wealth, create quality jobs, and enjoy a higher quality of life.
